Dr. Sandy Deveny brings both heart and leadership to Bonyo’s Kenya Mission through her work managing the child sponsorship program from her home base in Colorado. With the help of a dedicated network of supporters, she ensures that sponsored students receive the resources, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
A longtime volunteer and frequent traveler to Kenya, Dr. Deveny wears many hats—providing hands-on medical care during mission trips while also overseeing the progress of the students in the sponsorship program. Her deep commitment to education and equity has helped guide many young people from primary school all the way through graduation.
Known for her attention to detail and her genuine care for each student’s journey, Sandy plays a vital role in making sure the mission’s impact is not only felt—but sustained. Her work is a reminder that investing in education truly is investing in the future.
